Outside Activites
The first outside activity I attended was the WAMLE conference here at Marian University. The WAMLE conference is the Wisconsin Association for Middle Level Educators conference. I attended 4 sessions at this conference. The first session I attended was MinecraftEDU. This taught how to incorporate the game Minecraft into a classroom besides just a technology class and make it a useful tool. The second session I attended was Web 2.0 tools. This session taught several different tools on the web that teachers can use to make their classroom more efficient and successful. The third session I attended was called Cyberbullying. It explained how the web has sometimes been used for bad, for instance bullying other students. The final session I attended was Rosetta Stone. This is a language learning program that several schools are using for their foreign language classes.
