Demonstrations
The first website I demonstrated was myyearbook.com, now known as meetme.com. MeetMe is a social networking site mainly for high school students. It allows student connect with one another, play games, and find new friends. However, it also allows students to buy people's pictures and other slightly weird actions. It is not the best website to use for teachers in my opinion.

The second website I demonstrated was livemocha.com, a language learning website for beginners. It has some great tools for both students and teachers to use. I think the idea of using a website that offers a variety of tools for its viewers is a great idea. This website offers flashcards, chat with native speakers, and both speaking and writing practices. It is a great website for teachers to stay connected with speakers of the same language or of another.

Educreations is an iPad app that turns your iPad into an interactive whiteboard. This is great for student to talk and draw what they want to see. It allows you to record your voice as you draw on the screen. This is a great app for making videos on an iPad. It also allows students to add text on the screen, and is easy to share on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites.

Many include directions on how to make the items they show, others have linked their pictures to the original source, for example another website.
